Coming up: Compiere Web-based Functional Training

Based on customer, partner, and community feedback, we have developed a new, modern Compiere web-based training program. The five-day training will provide you with the tools and information necessary to help make your evaluation and implementation successful. You will still be able to interact with the Compiere instructors through live Q&A, student exercises and online demos but without the inconvenience of travel time and cost. The live training will be delivered via Webex from October 19th to October 23rd from 8am to 4pm PST (3pm to 11pm GMT).

For the second consecutive year, Compiere has been given the honor of Best of Open Source Enterprise Software by InfoWorld.

Every year, InfoWorld selects the best products that open source has to offer with its Best of Open Source Software awards (the BOSSIES). Regarding the 2009 BOSSIE selection of Compiere, InfoWorld says "Compiere delivers a good general ERP package with basic CRM functionality and easy customization without programming. Compiere's core features are also top-notch."

Value-added extensions on the new Compiere Exchange

Check out the new Compiere Exchange for ERP extensions built and supported by Compiere partners. The nearly dozen extensions include add-on modules to Compiere such as a Banking Payment Management module, Compiere connectors to other 3rd party hardware and software solutions like SugarCRM and Salesforce, as well as different language packs all contributed by the vibrant Compiere partner community.

Compiere at CloudWorld 2009

Sunny will be speaking at CloudWorld 2009 Conference next week in San Francisco. His session will explore how companies can deploy their own private instances of enterprise applications on the cloud and control specific customizations and upgrades to new versions, and ultimately lower their total cost of ownership.
