Compiere 3.1 Spotlight: Updated Technology Stack gives users more options

Compiere 3.1 adds support for new platform technologies and compatibility with the latest database, middleware and browser technology. New products now supported on Compiere 3.1 include: Sun Java JRE 6, JBoss 4.2.2, Oracle 11g, EnterpriseDB Postgres Plus 8.3, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and Google Chrome. Compiere 3.1 continues support for Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, Oracle 10g database, Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and Firefox 2 browsers.

New Product Demo: Compiere Business View Layer

We’ve added a new Business View Report Integration Flash demo to the Product Demos page.

This demo takes a look at the new Business View Layer (BVL) feature available in Compiere Professional Edition 3.1 which allows the user to easily create reports using Compiere’s standard reporting tools or create reports using 3rd party reporting tools such as Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, Pentaho and Microsoft Excel.
